Torque specs:
-The 4 M6 bolts that have a thread locker patch installed to retain the upper billet housing should be torqued to 8ftlbs. (DO NOT use these 4 bolts to pull the upper and lower mounts together. Make sure they are fully seated together and aligned prior to torqueing).
-The spherical retaining nut should be torqued to 55ftlbs.
-The 2 strut to knuckle bolts should be torqued to 63ftlbs then 74ftlbs than another 90°.
-The sway bar end links should be torqued to 37ftlbs
NVH (Noise/vibration/harshness) concerns: These do not ride any harsher or louder than the original bushings (the original rubber bushings simply allow easier and cheaper strut angle mounting from the factory). However, if you have other suspension noises or clunks these will resonate slightly that noise more than they did before installing. This simply means those other suspension noises should be fixed separately, but these billet mounts won’t create any extra noise or harshness over bumps themselves. These have been tested on the world famous horrible streets and highways of Detroit, MI.
